Five Parishes looking outwards, linked and held together through the cross of Jesus
Celebrating The Faith
together through Prayer Praise and Parties
The United Wye Benefice consists of the five parishes of Wye with Brook and Hastingleigh with Boughton Aluph and Eastwell with Hinxhill
The Benefice came together during 2004 and from 2005 the four parishes have been developing closer relationships with each other. From 2006 all Parochial Church Councils will meet together as the Benefice Council with time set aside for their individual meetings in the evening. We recognise that each parish has its own characteristics which complements the others and that each parish benefits from working with the others. In June 2007 the parish of Hinxhill joined the Benefice.
The Wye Benefice
The Wye Benefice crosses the A28 Ashford to Canterbury Road, towards the Ashford end. It runs from the top of the Wye downs to the valley and up onto the Pilgrims Way the other side of the main road. It encompasses new areas of building in Boughton Aluph on the edge of Ashford.
The Wye Benefice Office is situated in the Chaplaincy Office within Imperial College London, Wye Campus.
